Dominant defense, not offense, fuels Florida victory

As much as I was against Urban Meyer sending Tim Tebow out against LSU, I nor anyone else was the least bit surprised that he started for #1 Florida. Nor was I surprised that he was in the game the entire way. Given the short and long term risks of sending him out if he [...]

Previewing the Battle in the Bayou: #4 LSU vs. #1 Florida

So, LSU has won 21 straight night games and 32 straight Saturday night games at Tiger Stadium. So, Florida may go into their toughest game of the season without their field general and inspirational leader, and if he does take the field, he won’t be anywhere near 100%. And if he doesn’t take the field, [...]

“Celebrate good times, come on!”   -Kool and the Gang     Congratulations!  You just received that promotion you’ve been anticipating.  You closed a huge sale, finished that lingering household project or lost the weight you’ve been trying for months to lose.  It’s time to celebrate.  After all, who could hold back emotion after such [...]

4th quarter: LSU 31, OSU 17 – Time running out for Buckeyes.

LSU’s up by two scores, but the Buckeyes aren’t dead just yet, though their pulse is starting to fade, with only nine minutes to play.

LSU 24, Ohio State 10 entering the second half of BCS title game.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, well, you’re Ohio State right about now. Just like last year when they took an early lead on Florida and then the Gators turned around and blew them out of the stadium, we’re on that same road through 30 minutes of the BCS National Championship Game.
