Catching On: WR class could be best since ’96

The 1996 NFL Draft class was one of the best ever for the wide receiver position.  That class saw the emergence of future NFL greats Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn, Marvin Harrison and Terrell Owens from the collegiate level to the NFL.  This year, many experts are predicting an equally impressive crop.

Sunday night combine update: Skill positions take center stage.

For quite a while on Sunday afternoon, much of the talk was about Arkansas’ Darren McFadden and his apparent combine-best 4.27 40 time that he posted.

2008 NFL Draft Analysis: WRs – Speed? Size? These guys have it all, and then some.

There may be no Randy Moss or Jerry Rice in this year’s crop of wide receivers, but teams looking to upgrade their receiving corps should be able to find someone to fit the bill. This solid, deep pool of players has a good mix of speed and size to complement any NFL roster.
