Oh, you mean that LT? Yeah, the picture of depravity that is Lawrence Taylor is at it again. This NFL Hall of Fame linebacker is the prototypical bad boy of sports. Taylor finished an unparalleled career with the New York Giants, was considered one of the greatest men to ever play the sport, and subsequently found a new career – a low-down, back-alley crack addict.

Supposedly clean for years and working with a refreshed image, fans were saddened to hear that, on Thursday morning of May 6, LT was apprehended by authorities and charged with third-degree rape and soliciting prostitution.

Taylor was giving the third degree, literally, due to the alleged prostitute in the case being a 16-year-old Hispanic girl forced into prostitution against her will.

After pleading innocent and being released on $75,000 bond, Taylor avoided media while the case broke wide open. Reports of the girl being taken from her home last Marched and forced into the sex trade, and tales of a used condom, added another level of interest.

While Taylor, 51 and married with three children, is still asserting his innocence, others around the former football star are not so silent.

Reports of Taylor’s gambling, drug and prostitution habits are makings headlines now. As most of America watched an in-shape and happy Lawrence Taylor on Dancing with the Stars and were sure of his newfound sobriety, the darker side was still present – the side that had Taylor frequenting the best casinos and spending thousands, taking drugs recklessly and paying for multiple prostitutes while away from home.

Taylor faces up to one year in prison for solicitation, a misdemeanor, and up to four years in prison for having sex with an underage girl.

Rasheed Davis, the girl’s alleged pimp, was also charged. The 36-year-old Davis, a parolee, is charged with unlawful imprisonment and assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.

To date, LT maintains his innocence. He is due back in court on June 10.
