Tomlinson will be looking for a new home.

In a recent interview, star running back, , finally admitted that his days in are literally numbered.

How “numbered” they are, however, remains to be seen.

Tomlinson has been quoted as saying, “I’m not coming back. I’ve accepted it.”

That’s great news, considering just about anyone with some football sense “accepted” it before the season was even over.

Tomlinson is only 30, but has a ton of tread on his tires after topping 290 carries in ever season with the Chargers, save for his last.

After rushing for over 1,100 yards in all eight of his NFL seasons prior to the 2009 campaign, we watched as Tomlinson slowed down and finished with under 800 yards.

And it’s not like the guy wasn’t getting grind or was being phased out. If anything, he was phasing himself out. With a crummy 3.3 yards per carry, Tomlinson will have a difficult (near impossible, actually) time convincing any other NFL team that he’s worth adding on as a starter, or even as a rotational back.

and , consider yourselves lonely, no more.
