Well, it looks like Gator fans may not

Will Urban Meyer be back on the sidelines sooner than expected?
After a shocking resignation announcement yesterday, reports are now circulating that Meyer is now reconsidering his decision to step down as the top Gator at the Swamp and instead take an extended leave of absence, with offensive coordinator Steve Addazio taking over as interim coach.
According to the report on ESPN, there are two potential scenarios that could see Meyer return after some sort of leave. The plan being discussed would see Addazio, not Meyer, coach the Gators in the New Year’s night Sugar Bowl matchup against Big East champ Cincinnati, then take the reins until sometime before the 2010 season starts.
However, as per ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Meyer could give way to Addazio for all of 2010.
We may find out what’s going to happen one way or another this afternoon, as Meyer is set to hold a press conference in New Orleans at 4:30 p.m.

Webmaster Eddie Griffin writes about Florida so much because he's secretly a Gator fan.
It's okay, man. Come on into the light.
And thanks for Saturday's bad news. It couldn't have come from a nicer guy.
I do think that he did the right thing by resigning not only for himself personality.
