1. , QB, Florida: I wasn’t exactly for Tebow taking the field against LSU, but even though he didn’t exactly have a monster game, he did more than enough and even showed a little of the Tebow that we’re used to seeing.

Last Week (13-3 W at LSU): 11-16, 134 yards, TD, INT, 17 carries, 38 yards
Season Stats: 55-84, 777 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT, 72 carries, 309 yards, 5 TD

2. , Cincinnati: Pike will get his first real Heisman moment on Thursday night when the Bearcats take on South Florida in Tampa. Sports Chump will be there in person, and he’ll be able to vouch for Pike’s Heisman worthiness or unworthiness.

Last Week: DNP
Season Stats: 116-174, 1,493 yards, 13 TD, 3 INT, 2 rush TD

3. , RB, Virginia Tech: Williams had a monster day against Boston College on Saturday, logging his third performance of 150 yards or more just six games into his collegiate career.

Last Week: 18 carries, 159 yards, TD, 1 catch, 23 yards
Season Stats: 126 carries, 734 yards, 9 TD, 7 catches, 143 yards

4. , QB, Notre Dame: Clausen’s produced clutch performances in back-to-back-to-back games, but his moment to prove his worth as a top Heisman contender comes Saturday, when the Irish will try to beat USC for the first time since 2001. They do it, and Clausen may well be the Heisman front-runner.

Last Week: DNP
Season Stats: 100-148, 1,544 yards, 12 TD, 2 INT

5. , QB, Boise State: The Broncos have a really tricky game on Wednesday night at Tulsa, and if it ends up being anything but a win for Boise, their BCS dreams and Moore’s hopes for a trip to New York might go crashing down all at the same time.

Last Week: DNP
Season Stats: 92-133, 1,217 yards, 13 TD, 2 INT

6. , QB, Texas: McCoy’s performance against Colorado? It was ‘okay’, but it was not quite what I expected. Lucky for him, he can impress me and everyone else on Saturday against Oklahoma.

Last Week (38-14 W vs. Colorado): 32-39, 265 yards, TD, INT
Season Stats: 135-184, 1,410 yards, 10 TD, 6 INT, rush TD

7. , QB, Virginia Tech: Safe to say that now teams have to be wary of Taylor beating them with his arm, because he can now. Georgia Tech has shown in the past couple of weeks that they can be thrown on, so if the Hokies take to the air to win in Atlanta, it will - or at least should - vault Taylor into serious contention, despite his lack of rushing touchdowns to this point.

Last Week (48-14 W vs. Boston College): 7-10, 126 yards, 2 TD
Season Stats: 58-104, 995 yards, 8 TD, INT

8. , QB, Miami: Harris’ didn’t do his interception to touchdown ratio much of a favor in what should’ve been a real stat-padder against Florida A&M, but he’s got another one of those opportunities come this weekend at UCF.

Last Week (48-16 W vs. Florida A&M): 16-24, 217 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 85-136, 1,225 yards, 10 TD, 7 INT, rush TD

9. , QB, Houston: Had a big day against Mississippi State, but it could’ve been even bigger if not for two interceptions in Mississippi State territory.

Last Week (31-24 W at Mississippi State): 39-52, 434 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 183-262, 2,130 yards, 17 TD, 4 INT

10. , QB, Kansas: A quarterback sure can sleep a lot easier when he has a duo of receivers like Reesing does in Dezmon Briscoe and Kerry Meier, and monster days by all helped Kansas edge out a game Iowa State squad and move the Jayhawks to 5-0.

Last Week (41-36 W vs. Iowa State): 37-49, 442 yards, 4 TD, INT, rush TD
Season Stats: 133-192, 1,579 yards, 13 TD, 3 INT, 42 carries, 101 yards, 3 rush TD

11. , QB, Central Michigan: The Chippewas have won five in a row, and LeFevour has been fantastic since a poor performance in CMU’s season-opening loss at Arizona.

Last Week (56-8 W vs. Eastern Michigan): 16-22, 318 yards, 3 TD, 11 carries, 44 yards, 3 TD
Season Stats: 122-170, 1,311 yards, 12 TD, 4 INT, 76 carries, 319 yards, 8 rush TD

12. , QB, Pittsburgh: Stull rebounded from tossing a pick-six early in the third quarter and led the Panthers from down 21-6 with 3:56 left in the third quarter for a 24-21 win. If Pitt hadn’t blown a 31-17 third-quarter lead at North Carolina State a few weeks ago, the Panthers would be 6-0 and well inside the Top 25, and Stull might be getting a lot more Heisman-related love.

Last Week (24-21 W vs. Connecticut): 21-31, 268 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 98-147, 1,256 yards, 13 TD, 3 INT, rush TD

13. , RB, Oregon State: Rodgers went wild on Saturday, more than upstaging Gerhart.

Last Week (38-28 W vs. Stanford): 33 carries, 189 yards, 4 TD, 5 catches, 82 yards
Season Stats: 128 carries, 697 yards, 13 TD, 38 catches, 269 yards

14. , Stanford: Gerhart had two touchdowns at Oregon State, but both of them came when Oregon State had the game well in hand.

Last Week (38-28 L at Oregon State): 20 carries, 96 yards, 2 TD
Season Stats: 140 carries, 746 yards, 10 TD, 5 catches, 55 yards

15. , QB, Alabama: McElroy didn’t have his best day, but all that matters is that the Tide got the win.

Last Week (22-3 W vs. Ole Miss): 15-34, 147 yards
Season Stats: 93-153, 1,233 yards, 9 TD, INT, rush TD
