While everyone else might be wondering what the St. Louis Rams are going to do with the #2 pick, where Mark Sanchez is going to go, what trades are going to happen on Saturday, and many other supposedly important questions relating to the 2009 NFL Draft, my head’s on one much more pertinent topic.
If Matt Millen is anywhere on the premises for tomorrow’s draft, do the Detroit Lions have a restraining order in place to keep him from their war room?
If not, they should. Just lookin’ out for you, Detroit. But, because there seems to be the slightest bit of intelligence on the part of the new Lions regime (knock on wood), I’m sure they’ve already thought ahead and will have security watching out for him. “Yes, if you see a tall, burly, mustached man who tells you that he has something important to tell us involving drafting a wide receiver in the first round, don’t let him in, under any circumstances, even if he’s dressed as a pizza guy and is carrying real pizza.”
Now, back to your serious draft discussions, already in progress…
