If you’re going to be in the Atlanta area on Super Bowl Sunday, I highly recommend that you try to make it out to Luckie Food Lounge on Super Sunday for the first annual ‘Stewper Bowl,’ presented by Crown Royal, State Farm, Verizon Wireless, and Coors Light, and hosted by Atlanta sports radio’s 2 Live Stews.
Not only will you be able to watch the showdown between Arizona and Pittsburgh on one of many, many televisions, but there will be much more to keep you entertained throughout the afternoon and on deep into the night.
If you’re a big-time gamer, you need to get there when doors open at 3 p.m., for the ‘Gamer’s Hideout,’ hosted by the Konsole Kingz.
From there, you’ll have a kickoff toast by Crown Royal, a halftime show presented by Blue Corset Co. with music by DJ Don Cannon, and after the game’s over, there’ll be a post-game party sponsored by Coors Light that will last until 1 a.m. So if you get there at 3, you can have 10 hours of quality entertainment, and a reason to call in sick to work on Monday.
If you’re just interested in coming to see the game and getting some excellent food, there are more than 30 plasma TVs and state of the art projection screens, a specialty game menu created by Luckie’s top chef, and plenty of drink specials as well.
Need further incentive to come? The ‘Gamer’s Hideout’ event will have prizes available, but State Farm will also be giving away $25 for every field goal and $50 for every touchdown. Who doesn’t like free stuff?
You can wait until game time to show up, but you know how they say the early bird catches the worm. If you come between 3 and 5, admission is free, but afterwards, tickets are $10. It’s not a bad thing to show up late though, as all proceeds are going to the 2 Live Stews’ Stewart Family Foundation.
Good fun, good food, good drink, a good game, and a good cause. What can be better than that? If you want to know more about the event, check out the site: http://www.790thezone.com/microsite/stewperbowl.aspx
