Arizona and Pittsburgh set for Super showdown

The matchup for is set, and in two weeks, a Super Bowl first-timer will face off against a team in search of their own history, as Cinderella story faces off against five-time champ in Tampa.

I had high hopes for the Cardinals coming into this season, and I thought they could come out on top in a wide open NFC West. They did just that, but they exceeded my expectations just a little, certainly. may have been this year’s biggest comeback story, but has definitely risen from the ashes after his career stalled.

It’s no surprise that the Steelers are in the title game, and they’ll be chasing a record sixth Super Bowl title, which would put them ahead of and . Defense has been their hallmark this season, and that D will have to step up once again to stop a prolific Arizona offense.

Will Arizona be able to move the ball on Pittsburgh’s stout defense? Will Warner rise to the occasion in a return to the big stage? Or will the favored Steelers put an end to the Cinderella story? The AFC has dominated the Super Bowl in the last decade, so the odds are in Pittsburgh’s favor. But the Cardinals have beaten three quality opponents in the postseason, and I like their chances to pull it out.

    I think Arizona will move the ball against Pittsburgh. There offense is too good not to. I think Pitt will move it a little more. When Roethlisberger gets time in the pocket he is deadly and Mcnabb had all day to throw against the Cards. Lucky for them he threw poorly. 34-23 Pittsburgh.
