Has all the physical tools and skill requirements of an elite linebacker. Has excellent timed speed, and elite natural instincts. Can be a bit overly aggressive. Hasn’t shown if he can be a reliable pass rusher. May have difficulty with play recognition at the next level.

2. ()

Has ideal size and bulk, and is also an elite athlete. Has good speed, and possesses extreme versatility. Health has been an issue. A workout wonder? While his versatility is certainly great, whether or not he has a true position is in question.

3. ()

Good athlete with a fantastic feel for the game. Truly a great pass rusher, with good knowledge of pursuit and shedding blocks. Was productive against solid competition, and is very experienced. Only average timed speed. Hasn’t seen a ton of time in pass coverage.

4. (USC)

Very tough and competitive with great strength. Flies around the ball. Excels at pass rushing and blitzing. Projects to have outstanding versatility at the next level. Only an average athlete, though. May not have a true position. Some mild character concerns. Can he live up to his pedigree and hype?

5. ()

Outstanding athlete with great speed. Possesses great instincts and awareness. Has tremendous upside. Wasn’t very productive, and only played one full season of college football. Very raw prospect that needs a ton of work.

6. Cody Brown ()

Plays faster than his timed speed. Good athlete, with excellent pass rushing ability. Very productive in his final two seasons (18.5 sacks). May be too small to stick at defensive end in the NFL. Does he have the quickness or coverage skills to play linebacker? Too many questions.

7. Tyrone McKenzie ()

Excellent athleticism, to go with great sideline-to-sideline range. Has great instincts, and a solid understanding of the game, as well as where he’s supposed to be at all times. Very productive and experienced. May not be great in coverage or as a pass rusher. Needs to get bigger and stronger.

8. ()

Has all the necessary tools to make an impact at the next level. Very good speed and natural athleticism. May be able to offer some versatility at the next level. Not a very physical player, and doesn’t have ideal height and bulk. Play dropped off from junior to senior year.

9. (USC)

Is very athletic and instinctual. Full of energy, and doesn’t seem to tire. Looks better because of all the talent around him. Doesn’t have a ton of starting experience.

10. ()

A very physical linebacker with solid strength and decent speed. Very productive in the , putting up 10.5 sacks as a senior. May be a liability in coverage. Not a natural athlete. Appears to have maxed out his potential.
