1. Duke Robinson (Oklahoma)
Has a huge frame to go with long arms and solid athleticism. Very strong and powerful. Forces his will on the opposition. Tends to be a bit inconsistent, as his technique isn’t quite perfected. Has a questionable work ethic.
2. Andy Levitre (Oregon State)
Very tough and versatile. Excels in the run game. Has a lot of experience, and has played every position on the line-even tight end. Isn’t quite as tall as most guards are, and has short arms. Played tackle at the college level, so transition to guard could be an issue.
3. Trevor Canfield (Cincinnati)
Has great size and a solid frame. Has good athleticism, and moves well laterally. Needs to get stronger. Doesn’t always take the right angle or use proper leverage.
4. Kraig Urbik (Wisconsin)
Very big and imposing. Literally can manhandle opponents. Was extremely durable in college, and has good experience in a solid conference. Appears rather stiff, and isn’t an elite athlete for the position. Has limited upside, and offers average versatility.
5. Herman Johnson (LSU)
Has great size and bulk for the position. Towers over opponents and uses proper leverage with great success. Could potentially be used at either guard or tackle. Possesses great strength, along with a nasty demeanor. Despite his physical prowess, is not a great athlete. Doesn’t have great balance, and doesn’t always use the proper technique. His weight and conditioning could be an issue.
