1. Alex Mack (California)
Good athlete with solid quickness and agility. Has the size and bulk scouts look for. Extremely physical and aggresive off the line, and possesses a nasty killer instinct. Has average balance, which can result in him spending a lot of time on the ground. Can be dominated easily be bigger defenders.
Very versatile and cerebral lineman. Has terrific awareness, balance, and understanding of the game. Has a full knowledge of positioning and angles. Isn’t a great athlete, and doesn’t always apply the proper leverage. Can have trouble with quicker defenders.
3. Eric Wood (Louisville)
Has great size, bulk, and strength. Has good overall athleticism. Tends to look stiff in his movements, and isn’t overly powerful. He appears to have maxed out his potential.
4. Antoine Caldwell (Alabama)
Has good quickness and overall athleticism, while possessing great awareness. Very mobile lineman with good balance and footwork. Doesn’t have great size. Needs to get bigger to excel at the next level.
5. Jonathan Luigs (Arkansas)
Plays very light and quick for a lineman. Is extremely durable and battle-tested after starting four seasons in the SEC. Needs to get stronger and more physical. Run-blocking is his glaring weakness.
