I don’t really like to do too many promotional posts on here, since I try to keep it strictly on topic, but more than just being a regular source of college football and NFL content for my readers out there, I’m always trying to look out for my fellow bloggers. And on that note, here’s a little something for my fellow sports and non-sports bloggers out there.

These days, we know all too well that few things come cheap (gas, groceries, sports tickets, and concessions, to name a few things), and it doesn’t hurt to have a little extra money in your pockets.

That’s where Snapbomb comes in. I’m sure plenty of the bloggers out there have tried or at least heard of some of the services like PayPerPost that allow bloggers to earn money for writing sponsored posts, and Snapbomb, much like PayPerPost and others, gives you a host of available opportunities to choose from to write about. Some of them you match up with it, some you don’t, and while it’s nice for your wallet the more you write, it’s best to stay relevant, of course.

When you sign up on Snapbomb, your blog gets an initial valuation based on traffic/popularity and page rank, and that will give you an indication of how much you can earn from each opportunity. From there, once you start writing, your value can go up, based on the feedback you receive from your posts and the quality of the posts you write. So, the better you write + the better your posts are = the more your posts are worth, and the more $$ you make.

There’s only the one sports-related opportunity right now, on the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year (the piece that I posted up on Wednesday), but it’s one you should jump on if you’re a college football blogger. It’s one that will be refreshing every couple of weeks, so the chance is there to make some extra money for a game ticket, some grub for your tailgate party, a nice date at Olive Garden, or if you’re all about doing more for your blog, getting you one step closer to that premium theme you’ve been eyeing for months.

For sports bloggers, there should be more sports-related opportunities coming open soon besides the college football one that’s currently up, and whatever your niche is, there should be something there that you match up with.

You may or may not have success with it, but it doesn’t hurt to try something new, so check out Snapbomb to see if there’s something there that fits you. Good luck!
