Post-Combine Draft Risers: It’s a good time to be from Purdue, and to be fast.

Notre Dame's Trevor Laws could be the fourth defensive tackle selected on April 26.Dozens of draft prospects went into the NFL scouting combine looking to improve their draft standing by impressing the plethora of scouts and coaches in attendance in Indianapolis.

From the sure bets to the sleepers, just about everyone had a little something to prove and improve.

And, after nearly a week of interviews, drills, examinations, and in general being sized up, down, and every way possible, there were a lot of prospects who jetted out of Indy in a far better standing than when they rode in.

Here’s a breakdown of the players who did themselves the most good.

With the pass-catching tight end becoming a part of NFL offenses, it was a great time for Purdue’s to show off at the combine. Keller leads the way for the risers on offense, as he used his 38-inch vertical to leap into a place in the first couple of rounds.

On defense, a couple of Purdue players significantly boosted their draft stock as well, but so did another Big Ten star, a quartet of SEC defenders, and a small-school cornerback who’s proven that he has big-time talent, along with several other defensive talents who worked their way into a higher spot on draft day.
